Learning Sciences Conference 2026

Educators and school leaders gathered in Singapore for the Learning Sciences Conference 2026, a two-day professional learning event that explored how research on learning can inform classroom practice, school leadership and educational innovation.

Spatial Competency and Literacy for Educators

A total of 35 school leaders and key personnel participated in the Spatial Competency and Literacy for Educators programme, held from 12 February to 8 May 2026. Conducted by Associate Professor Marian Mahat and her team from the University of Melbourne, the programme was delivered through a blended format of online and face-to-face sessions across two school terms. It aimed to deepen educators’ understanding of how school learning environments can be intentionally designed, used and evaluated to support better teaching and learning outcomes.

Differentiated Instruction Conference 2026

More than 300 educators, school leaders and education professionals gathered at Orchard Hotel Singapore for the 7th Differentiated Instruction Conference 2026, organised by Principals Academy from 1 to 2 April 2026. Centred on the theme “Differentiation & Engagement in Teaching and Learning,” the conference provided a timely platform for participants to explore how teaching and learning can be better designed to meet the diverse needs, readiness levels and learning profiles of students.

From 8 to 14 March 2026, the State Government of Punjab, India, sent a delegation of secondary school principals to Singapore for the 21st Century School Leadership Programme, organised by the Principals Academy.

Principals Academy (SG102) is honoured to receive the 2025 Best Computer-Based Exam Centre Performance Award. This recognition celebrates the Centre’s computer-based growth rate, the highest recorded in the Northeast and Southeast Asia Pacific (NSAP) region, which spans ANZ, Southeast Asia, Korea, and Japan.

The Principals Academy Exam Centre (SG102) underwent unannounced Cambridge English audits on 1 June 2024 and 24 May 2025 for its full paper-based Cambridge English Qualification examination, achieving the rare “Excellent” rating on both occasions—the highest possible outcome.

The week-long programme was designed to deepen participants’ understanding of innovative pedagogical practices and provide exposure to the Singapore education system.
