More than 300 educators, school leaders and education professionals gathered at Orchard Hotel Singapore for the 7th Differentiated Instruction Conference 2026, organised by Principals Academy from 1 to 2 April 2026. Centred on the theme “Differentiation & Engagement in Teaching and Learning,” the conference provided a timely platform for participants to explore how teaching and learning can be better designed to meet the diverse needs, readiness levels and learning profiles of students.
Across the two-day conference, participants heard from a diverse line-up of local and international speakers, including academics, practitioners and education specialists. Through keynote presentations, expert sharing and professional conversations, the conference examined differentiation not merely as a set of classroom strategies, but as an intentional approach to engaging learners, supporting inclusion and strengthening meaningful participation in learning.
The strong turnout reflected the continued importance of differentiated instruction in today’s classrooms. As schools respond to increasing learner diversity and complexity, the conference reaffirmed the need for educators to design learning experiences that are responsive, inclusive and practical, so that every student can be supported, challenged and given opportunities to grow.
