Spatial Competency and Literacy for Educators
The Spatial Competency and Literacy for Educators program comprises five modules delivered through a blended format of online and face-to-face sessions across two school terms by Associate Professor Marian Mahat and her team of lecturers. Each module explores key theories and concepts, presents relevant case studies, and highlights practical strategies for implementation. The program integrates direct instruction, whole-group discussions, and collaborative breakout activities. A key feature of the program is the embedded micro-inquiry to support reflective practice. Through this approach, participants will develop a robust understanding of current research and learn how to harness the pedagogical and design dimensions of innovative learning environments to improve student outcomes.
