Mr Simon Reynolds

Simon Reynolds was a deputy director of the Curriculum Planning and  Development Division and associate with the Special Educational Needs Division at the Ministry of Education. He holds a Master’s Degree in Autism Studies and Graduate Certificate in Applied Behaviour Analysis.

Simon is currently  a consultant in curriculum design, implementation, assessment and evaluation for one Special Education School, and for development of the Social Emotional Learning programme at another. Simon also conducts training for both teachers and parents in sexuality education for students with special educational needs as well as workshops in special educational needs for mainstream school teachers. He is a part-time lecturer and practicum supervisor at the National Institute of Education in special education. Simon conducts behavioural intervention field work for adults with Autism, and designs and teaches co-curricular training programmes for students with special educational needs that focus on building self-confidence, regulation, and social skills. He enjoys returning regularly to the classroom as an occasional relief teacher at a Special Education School.
