Singapore International Science Teachers Conference was organised by Science Teachers Association of Singapore (STAS), Science Centre Singapore (SCS) and the Academy of Singapore Teachers (AST), Curriculum Planning and Development Division (CPDD), Natural Sciences and Science Education (NSSE AG, NIE) and Academy of Principals (APS) with the support from the Singapore Association for the Advancement of Science (SAAS). The objectives of the conference are to; 1) promote the importance of values in science education so that the learners will be future-ready for the exciting world which they will live and work in; 2) to develop teacher competencies in science curriculum, pedagogy and assessment; and 3) to provide an international platform for science teachers to share effective practices and innovative strategies to enhance students’ learning. Principals Academy provided the project management of the event.
