The Department of School Education, under the auspices of the Punjab Government, has facilitated the participation of a new batch of 72 school principals in the Educational Leadership Development Programme conducted by the Principals Academy. From July 24th to July 28th, 2023, this programme served as an enriching opportunity for the principals to gain insights and exchange knowledge with their Singaporean counterparts.
A vital feature of the programme was the provision for the participants to interact directly with education professionals in Singapore through school visits and engaging panel discussions. These face-to-face interactions allowed for dynamic conversations about effective school leadership and education methodologies, contributing to broadening perspectives among the participants.
The programme also aimed at strengthening the principals' skills in mentorship, empowering them to support their teaching staff better, and enhancing their understanding of curriculum leadership with strategic thinking.
