The 7th Asia-Pacific Educational Assessment Conference (APEAC) was successfully held on April 3–4, 2025, at the Orchard Hotel in Singapore. Organized by the Principals Academy, the event brought together over 300 participants from Singapore, the Philippines, and Myanmar.
Centered on the theme “Empowering Future-Ready Educators and Learners,” the conference focused on innovative assessment practices that support 21st-century competencies. Attendees explored how educational assessment can evolve to meet the needs of future learners.
The conference featured a distinguished lineup of keynote speakers, including Mary Richardson, Saad Chahine, Carla Evans, Imogen Casebourne, Nicole Barnes, Heidi Reid, Jill Willis, Sandra Milligan, and Miho Taguma. Topics ranged from the integration of AI and technology in assessment to strategies for evaluating holistic learning outcomes.
APEAC 2025 served as a vital platform for collaboration among educators, researchers, and policymakers, all working toward the shared goal of enhancing educational assessment practices across the Asia-Pacific region.
