Positive Discipline in the Classroom for Teachers

This interactive, three-hour session allows educators to immerse themselves in Positive Discipline techniques that create positive, inclusive classroom environments. Teachers will practice strategies for encouraging accountability, managing classroom behaviors constructively, and fostering a culture of respect and collaboration. Through group exercises and discussions, participants will explore ways to promote student engagement and self-discipline, developing approaches that inspire a strong classroom community.

Ms Yogi Patel

Yogi Patel is a dynamic trainer and consultant specializing in Positive Discipline and innovative educational practices, celebrated for her transformative impact on schools, homes, and workplaces. With over 30 years of diverse experience, Yogi is dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations to create environments that foster purpose, creativity, and personal growth.

As the founder of Heartfelt and Transformation Through Empowerment, a consultancy focused on Positive Discipline, Yogi has successfully led Kinderhouse Montessori School for 22 years and serves as a Positive Discipline Trainer and Master Trainer for Empowering People in the Workplace. Her training approach transcends traditional methods, emphasizing open dialogue and equipping participants with critical thinking tools to shape their values and leadership potential.

Yogi holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Administration, along with certifications in yoga and educational leadership, complemented by Certificates in Management Essentials and Leadership Principles from Harvard Business School. She has extensive experience designing and delivering engaging training sessions for educators, leaders, and parents worldwide, focusing on effective change management strategies that promote equity, belonging, and inclusion.

A passionate advocate for children’s safety and well-being, Yogi actively volunteers with the Positive Discipline Association and serves on the board of Trunks and Leaves. Her commitment to nurturing children’s emotional and psychological growth is central to her mission.

In her free time, Yogi enjoys yoga, cooking, high-intensity training, and gardening, reflecting her holistic approach to life and learning.
