A Rising Tide Raises All Ships

Reimagining Primary School Learning Experiences

01About the workshop

In line with the Ministry of Education’s announcement on high-ability programmes in all primary schools being opened up to more students, many schools have started to revamp their existing programmes to better cater for the high-ability learners.

This workshop aims to provide a quick introduction to some good practices gleaned from Gifted Education Programmes in Singapore and explore better ways to cultivate curiosity and a love for learning in all learners.

Using local school examples, participants will learn practical ways to re-design existing curriculum and differentiate instruction to cater for a greater diversity of learning profiles within their classrooms. With well-designed school experiences, the learning needs of the high-ability students can be met, while the learning experiences for all can be uplifted.
