
A One-Day Professional Learning Workshop on the Competency-Driven Growth (CDG) Framework
This one-day workshop builds the capacity of School Leaders and Key Personnel to lead high-quality growth conversations as a core leadership practice under the Competency-Driven Growth (CDG) framework.
Participants will clarify the intent and principles of CDG, address common misconceptions, and develop practical skills to translate competencies into observable behaviours and credible evidence in school contexts. Emphasis is placed on how leaders listen, question, give feedback, and exercise professional judgement, while managing the development–performance tension with clarity and professionalism.

Mr. Manogaran Suppiah is a Senior Consultant at Principals Academy and has been a veteran educator with over 40 years of service in Singapore’s education system. He has taught across primary, secondary, and pre-university levels, and held leadership roles as Principal, Cluster Superintendent, Founding Executive Director of the Academy of Singapore Teachers (AST), and CEO of SINDA.
A trained Consultant in Organisational Learning, Mr. Suppiah has conducted workshops internationally. In the past three years, he has led more than 50 programmes, impacting over 1,500 educators, school leaders, and non-profit professionals. He remains passionate about professional development, leadership, and organisational learning, inspiring growth across education and community sectors.
