21st Century Communication: Communicate with Impact-Strategies to Present, Persuade and Connect

This 1-Day workshop equips educators with practical strategies to communicate with confidence—whether addressing a class, presenting to colleagues, or engaging stakeholders online or in person. With today’s classrooms and meetings spanning digital-natives, adult learners, and seasoned professionals, educators will also learn how to flex their style to connect across generations and contexts with equal ease.

The workshop covers how to structure messages clearly, manage stage fright, and avoid being overwhelmed by details, so that every presentation lands with clarity and purpose. Storytelling techniques will be introduced to make ideas memorable, while audience-mapping strategies ensure that the right message resonates with the right people. In today’s hybrid environment, the course also addresses online delivery, giving educators the tools to maintain presence and impact on platforms such as Zoom.

Designed to be practical and participatory, the workshop engages educators in hands-on activities, real-world scenarios, and peer feedback. The format allows every attendee to test strategies in a safe environment, refine their approach, and experience the shift from theory to confident practice.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this workshop, educators will be able to:

  • Overcome nerves and stage fright with confidence-building techniques.
  • Structure and deliver clear, concise, and compelling presentations.
  • Use storytelling and audience-mapping to engage and persuade effectively.
  • Adapt communication styles to connect across stakeholders and generations.
