Taking Charge: Effective Leadership in Crisis

In an era where unpredictability is the only certainty, the true mettle of leadership is tested during times of crisis. Good leaders make the difference as they not only set their organisations up for growth, but also take the effort to prepare themselves and their teams for upcoming challenges and potential crisis. The recent global pandemic has underscored the indispensability of adept leadership in navigating through the tempests of change.

Leaders cannot hope that crisis or the unexpected will never happen. It is our responsibility to prepare ourselves and our teams by asking:

• Are we mentally and physically prepared to lead in crisis?
• Is our organisation ready to face the next crisis?
• Can we improve the level of preparedness for ourselves and our organisation by using a common set of Crisis Response Imperatives?

Recognising this imperative, we are thrilled to introduce a transformative opportunity tailored for those at the helm of education and leadership – Taking Charge: Effective Leadership in Crisis.

This meticulously designed 2-day workshop is designed to empower leaders to navigate challenging situations with confidence, resilience, and clarity. The workshop is not merely a course but an expedition towards mastering the art of leadership in a VUCAH (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous, and Hyper-connected) world. Spearheaded by leadership experts Mr. Fred Tan and Mr. Ang Yau Choon, this session promises to amalgamate experience, expertise, and real-world application.

Through the workshop, participants will explore cutting-edge insights from neuroscience to understand the effects of stress on decision-making and behavior. Learn how to shift from the "basement" of reactive thinking to the "balcony" of strategic action, even under pressure. Utilising the PR6 resilience assessment, attendees will gain a personalized understanding of their resilience levels and identify areas for growth.

The workshop is interactive and will uncover the essential skills, attributes, and tools required to lead effectively in times of crisis. Participants will leave with actionable strategies, practical tips, and a deeper sense of self-awareness to inspire and guide their teams toward success, no matter the challenges ahead.

Take charge of your leadership journey and turn crises into opportunities for growth and impact!
