This workshop places participants in a training kitchen availing themselves to their Five Senses in the cooking of a Salmon Wellington under the tutelage of a professional chef, exploring the curious aspect of the science behind the technique. Learning journey continues with Educational facilitator harmonizing narrative writing approach with tacit knowledge and structure.

Mdm Lee Lai Yong graduated from the University of Oregon, USA with a BA in English Literature, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore with a Masters in Educational Management. In her 38 years with the Ministry of Education, Singapore, Mdm Lee was Principal in three government schools, namely, Rulang Primary School, Radin Mas Primary School and Junyuan Secondary School. Concurrently, she conducted sharing sessions, workshops and talks in both primary and secondary schools. Mdm Lee received the Public Service Award in 2003.
After retirement as a School Principal, she had continued to be attached to the National Institute of Education [NIE/International] as an external consultant focusing on strategic planning, Singapore Teaching Practices, Innovation and Leading schools. Currently, Mdm Lee is engaged as the Academic Advisor of At-Sunrice Global Chef Academy. The role includes being a member of the Academic Board, advisor to the Faculty comprising a team of International Chef Instructors and advisor to team collaborating with local & international schools.
