Teaching & Learning Processes (incorporating VARK)

Children are by nature active learners, and no one learns by a single method or process. Thus, to motivate all children to love to learn, educators need to consciously include varieties in the lesson presentations to enhance learning. There are many  processes, but we will start with the 4 listed in the Learning Outcomes and in them include the Visual, Aural, Read/write, and Kinesthetics sensory modalities.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Demonstration – Modelling – Follow the Leader
  • Hands-on – use of tools & equipment
  • Group Work / Break-up Groups: Co-operative Learning
  • Games and Fun

Target Audience:

Early Childhood Educators
